Little Free Libraries in Lancaster

We’re working to build literacy friendly neighborhoods throughout Lancaster Country, and we need your support.

The Little Free Library approach is simple:

*  We will initially stock the LFL with a variety
of good quality books that we hope will
interest our neighbors.
*  Neighbors stop by and choose books of their
interests.
*  LFL’s motto is Take a Book, Read a Book,
Share a Book.
*  Books are FREE and available 24/7. There’s
no membership required and never any
late fees!

Will you pledge to work together with us and our neighbors to develop and engage in activities that promote reading in our community?

Let’s embark on a journey that is energizing reading and changing how our community interacts. Together, we can build a literacy-friendly neighborhood!

Clinton Elementary is excited to spearhead the Little Free Library (LFL) Initiative on behalf of our neighbors and community.

However, we can’t do this alone. An initiative of this magnitude needs community support and volunteers who are interested in creating literacy-friendly neighborhoods.
Please contact Staci White at 286-5395 or Angela Vaughan at 416-8812
if you would like to help.

“Do not doubt that a small group of determined citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” - Margaret Mead
